Hey Time Dorks! When I first met Kyle, he told me something I've heard from a lot of people over the past year. He'd read all the books. Make Time, Four Thousand Weeks, and plenty of others. He'd experimented with meditation, productivity systems, and various routines to help him feel more focused and in control. But he kept running into the same problem. He'd discover a new idea, feel inspired, and start putting it into practice. Then life would get busy. His motivation would fade. And eventually, he'd find himself right back where he started. Here's how he described it: "I have read all the books at this point, but maintaining the motivation for more than the honeymoon period after having read the book was where I really struggled." Sound familiar? I think a lot of us know this cycle. We know that exercise helps us feel better. We know that taking breaks helps us recharge. We know that choosing a daily Highlight helps us focus on what matters. But when we're stressed, exhausted, or overwhelmed, those are often the first things to disappear. Knowing what works is one thing. Making it work consistently in your life is another. That's a big part of why I created The Inner Operating System. It's a program designed to help people like Kyle build a more sustainable way of managing their stress, energy, attention, and daily routines. We're starting a new group together on October 26. If you recognize yourself in Kyle's story and are interested in making this kind of change in your own life, I'd love to explore whether the program is right for you. → Book a call to explore joining iOS We'll talk about what's happening in your life, what you'd like to change, and how the program could help. I'll also explain how iOS works, the investment involved, and answer any questions you have. So what happened when Kyle joined? After completing the program, he shared something that meant a lot to me: "Much of this stuff was not entirely new to me, and yet my life was still in various levels of disarray. It's not putting it mildly to say that the way you pulled all this together, the manner in which it was presented, the community you created… it changed my life for the positive more than any other intervention in my life." So what changed? Kyle learned how to regulate his nervous system instead of getting caught in anxious thought patterns. He started using simple breathing practices throughout his day to manage stress and feel more grounded. He learned to work with his energy instead of pushing through exhaustion. And he combined these practices with practical planning tools to make progress on the things that mattered to him. One of the most surprising changes was physical. For years, Kyle had struggled with persistent heartburn and digestive problems. He'd tried restrictive diets and all sorts of approaches to manage the symptoms. As he began integrating breathing practices and learning to regulate his nervous system, he noticed a remarkable improvement. By the end of the program, he told me his digestive issues had almost completely disappeared. That's Kyle's personal experience, of course, but it was a powerful reminder to me of how closely our physical and mental well-being can be connected. One of my favorite things he said during our closing conversation was: "I used to think I was going to have to turn into Buddha before I could actually feel good about things, and that is so far from the case. If you get 1% Buddha, then your life is 40% different." I love that. You don't need to radically overhaul your life to start feeling better. Often, it's about learning a handful of simple practices, understanding why and when to use them, and having the structure and support to make them stick. That's what we help people build inside The Inner Operating System. We start by helping you understand how your brain, body, and nervous system work, then teach you practical ways to regulate stress, manage your energy, and direct your attention. Then we build on that foundation with practical tools for focus, daily planning, and reflection. The goal is to help you develop a sustainable way of operating, so you can feel more focused, energized, present, and in control of your days. If you're someone who's read the books, tried the tools, and still struggles to make the changes stick, I'd love to help. Our October Start Together group begins October 26. You'll get the full seven-module program at your own pace, ongoing weekly coaching, and a supportive community. You'll also receive a live kickoff, a private Calibration Call with me, and a group integration session in December. If you're ready to invest in building a more sustainable way of working and living, I'd love to explore whether iOS could be right for you. → Book a call to explore joining iOS Enrollment closes Wednesday, October 21. Thanks for reading, Connor P.S. When I asked Kyle what he'd say to someone considering joining the program, he told me: "This is the best investment in myself I've ever made." |
