An honest plug (and a better investment than a TV)

Hey friends,

Connor here with an honest plug for something I'm really proud of.

In the lead up to Black Friday, when everyone is scrambling to buy last-minute items they don't actually need, why not choose to invest in yourself instead?

Allow me to share one great way to do just that: apply for the second cohort of The Inner Operating System!

The program starts January 20th. If you're feeling the end-of-year burnout creeping in, this might be the reset you need to start the new year with intention rather than exhaustion.

I've spoken to a ton of readers of this newsletter over the past year (thank you all!), and a few of you joined the first cohort over the summer.

One of them was Madeleine. When I read transformations like hers, it reminds me why I do this type of work:

“I used to work nonstop, constantly running from one task to the next. I felt stressed about both work and personal matters and was tired all the time.
Now, I make conscious decisions throughout the day... I manage my stress cycles and feel more focused and intentional in what I do. I’ve learned to prioritize myself, which has made me a better employee, partner, and friend. I’m more present, my actions feel more meaningful, and I have much more energy.
Overall, I feel content, satisfied, and in charge of my life again. I highly recommend this course - it truly made a difference.

The goal of this course is simple: to help driven professionals move from feeling scattered, stressed, and overwhelmed to feeling more focused, energized, present, and in control.

If lately you’ve felt yourself:

  • Constantly reacting to everything around you, with little control over your time and attention
  • Spread too thin, overwhelmed by endless demands
  • Mentally foggy or physically drained, no matter how hard you try to push through
  • Struggling to switch off, even when you want to rest and be present

And if deep down, you’d love to experience:

  • More clarity in how you think, plan, and make decisions
  • A steadier mind and more consistent energy throughout the day
  • A deeper sense of intention and focus, instead of feeling reactive and rushed
  • Genuine presence with the people you care about

Then this may be the right program for you!

If you’re curious and want to learn more, you can book a discovery call with me.

What you'll learn in The Inner Operating System:

  • Clarity & Awareness: Learn how to observe your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors with more precision so you can understand your patterns and make wiser choices.
  • Nervous System Regulation: Use proven body-based tools (e.g. breath, movement, stress-cycle completion) to shift your physiological state in minutes and reduce reactivity during challenging moments.
  • Attention & Focus Training: Train your brain using evidence-based practices to improve your cognitive control and deepen your capacity for meaningful work.
  • Energy & Rhythm Optimization: Apply the science of ultradian rhythms and recovery cycles to structure your days in a way that supports sustainable performance without burning out.
  • Reflection & Alignment: Develop a regular practice of reflection so you can integrate insights, align your daily actions with your values, and build a personal operating system that supports long-term, sustainable change.

If you're feeling called to make a change, I'd love to support you.

You can book a discovery call here.

I'll be back next week with a special invite to one of my favorite annual traditions.

Thanks!

Connor

Hey Time Dorks, In my last dispatch, I wrote about the power of pausing and how taking a beat can give you more space to choose a thoughtful response. Today, I want to share a simple body-based tool that makes that pause even more powerful. Something to Try — The 4-6 Breath The other afternoon, I was wrapping up my workday when an email from a client arrived with some unfortunate news: they needed to postpone a workshop we had scheduled for later in the week. Instantly, I was annoyed. My mind...

Hey Time Dorks! Connor here. Over the summer, Claire and I ran the very first cohort of our new program, The Inner Operating System. We built it for driven professionals who feel scattered, stressed, or overwhelmed and want to be more focused, energized, and present so they can create a more intentional life that feels healthy, productive, and deeply satisfying. One of our students, Kyle, told us: “It is not putting it mildly to say that the way you pulled all this together, the manner in...

Hey Time Dorks! Connor here with another dispatch. I know it's been awhile, but I'm excited to be back in your inboxes with something new to share + a few thoughts on the importance of rest. Something New I wanted to update you on what we’ve been up to behind-the-scenes. In April, I put out a call-out in Time Dorks and my personal newsletter One Percent Wisdom to connect with readers for 1:1 conversations to dive deep into their challenges, frustrations, hopes, and dreams. Thank you SO much...
